Why #thebreakfastclub ?
I first found Jayne Cox (@loving_my_years) because of her Twitter Tea Trolley. Every day, Jayne wheeled out her virtual tea urn, offering a cup of confidence boosting attention. She made time in her day to listen to people’s news, spread her positivity and encourage others to engage.
As her #TeaTrolley became ever more popular, she had a great idea: Let’s help people start their day in a positive way, meet like-minded people and get them networking-naturally! And so, #TheBreakfastClub was born. Each weekday, from 6.45 to 8.00 am, we wheel out our virtual trolleys – We’re a team now – and serve tea, coffee and hugs to everyone who joins the conversation.

Meet the Trolley-Dollies!
It takes team-work to look after everyone in the mornings, and our #TeaTrolley pulls up to the doors at 6.45am sharp. We can serve anything from Jayne’s Builder’s Tea to Lisa’s famous porridge – and being virtual, the supply never runs out. We’ve recently discovered the wonderful Poffertjes – little Dutch pancakes – and I’ll happily prepare a plate for you.

We asked the Trolley Dollies to share their idea of a perfect breakfast this month:
Jayne said: My perfect breakfast is eggs from our happy garden hens with a perfect cup of organic builders tea. it always tastes better when hubby makes it!
Liz told us: My perfect breakfast is scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with my two men, in sunshine overlooking the sea. (with my daughter would make it truly perfect)
Lisa’s answer was: For me, it’s a breakfast shared. A comforting bowl of hot porridge with honey & great company always makes for a very satisfying start.
And mine: My perfect breakfast is a picnic watching the sunrise with my hubby & a warm blanket.
